Through this platform they will be able to communicate with their peers in other Universities or High-Schools in Rwanda and exchange ideas with people in business.... Akika-BeeHive will allow Enterprises working together with Academics and Students with breakthrough ideas and will promote the settings for the develop ment and advancement solutions and generate value for both society and enterprises. The use of AKIKA-BeeHive open innovation learning platform will stimulate more active students learning through teamwork at generating ideas, increase entre preneurship potential, improve students employability skills and enhance their career opportunities.

We are fostering the culture of innovations. Therefore, we are inviting all participants who have interesting ideas and solutions, who are enthusiastic and motivated, looking into the future, to work with us and use the AKIKA-BEEHIVE very actively.... We assist companies to look beyond their internal resources to have a wider network in which to co-create and leverage fresh expertise, the “Open Innovation” workshop provides them an apparent view about generating new ideas to embrace competition. The process helps you to accelerate your best ideas to market, working with your key people, stretching and shaping their thinking, and guiding them through the phases of insight and ideation, design and evaluation, strategy and implementation.

Academics & governments

Open innovation platforms as an AKIKA-BEEHIVE tool attracting society, business and University staff and students, assist in the production of socially important projects.... Through the use of the platform Universities will be able to adapt their study programmes so that those will enable students to get better employment and the study programmes to get more market oriented. AKIKA-BEEHIVE are therefore about strengthening high-schools and business relationships through intervening into the academic curriculum. Through AKIKA-BeeHive we are implementing a strategy to foster community development by nurturing the development and growth of new s mall firms, community development agencies, high-schools and a combination of sponsors that seek to promote entrepreneurial talent and jobs, revitalize Rwandan economy, and assist in the development of technology.

IDEATION

The aim is to generate a large quantity of ideas that the team can then filter and cut down into the best, most innovative for inspiring new and better design solutions.

DESIGN

The project design phase might generate a variety of different outputs, including sketches, flowcharts, site trees, HTML screen designs, prototypes and more.

CONCEPT

The aim is to outline the background, context and need for the project, the project's objectives, expected results and resources required.

The project development aims in planning, organizing, coordinating, and controlling the resources to accomplish specific goals.
